It has a taller profile for the authentic look.
Restoration Quality by V-Twin MFG. Exclusive tooling has produced accurate reproductions including the Eaton Mark in side.
This vented gas cap has a 5-16" knurled band on the top of the cap. Cap has a thickness of 1.76mm and a diameter of 2-1/2".
Fits the following Harley-Davidson motorcycles as well as many bobber and chopper gas tanks with this style of screw-in attachment:
EL 1936-1940
FL 1941-1964
UL 1938-1948
and, most tanks with the tang/bayonet style screw (NOT 1983-up style) cap attachment like some of those tanks found in our eBay store.
