- For 1952-78 Ironhead XL/Sportsters.
- You send us your bare Ironhead frame and we send it back totally hardened the "F" up!
- 3" Drop Seat, 9" Overall Frame Stretch. Stretch is minimum necessary to accommodate sprung solo seat operation. Shorter stretches are available for those wanting a frame mounted seatpan.
Kit includes the following parts and in-house services:
- 5.5" x18" 60-Spoke Wheel
- Vee Rubber 200 x 18" WW tire mounted & balanced on rim
- Drop Seat Ironhead hardtail installed and final welded to your frame.
- New 1.5" center seatpost is installed and ugly dual seatposts are removed and lovingly placed into the nearest rubbish receptacle.
- Complete Axle kit including adjusters
- Rear wheel centering and spacering service
- Chrome, late model juice brake kit with new disc
- Brake bracket installed and final welded
- 1" offset front (transmission) sprocket
- Sprung solo seat kit installed and final TIG welded
- New lithium battery and battery tray installed and final TIG welded in place
- Tight radius fender mounted with radiused style fender struts in place
- Chrome oil tank mounted and final TIG welded
- Electrical mounting tabs in place
We do all the hard stuff involving math, geometry, heat and other forms of pain and torture. You get to do all the fun stuff like paint, wiring, plumbing, painting and final assembly.
