Convert your Big Twin to a rigid Chopper/Bobber practically overnight!!!
Brought to you by Bitter End - Old School Choppers - One-Stop Shopping for Hardcore Chopper Builders.
- Fits stock Harley Davidson Big-Twin (FX/FL series) motorcycle frames and will handle stock width rear tire with chain.
- This is for Drum brake bikes and includes bracket so that you can use your OEM rear brake if you choose. However, we also see a variety of brake brackets in our eBay if you desire to convert to other brake types like hydraulic.
- Does not require a frame jig to mount as long as necessary steps to check squareness and level are taken prior to welding. Please visit our YouTube channel: BEOSChops for more technical discussion on chassis fabrication and hardtail installation.
DIY hard-tail is easy to install as the alignment is accomplished in the mount design provided. Welding and fabrication should be performed by a skilled welding technician. Weld on unit should be aligned for chain clearance prior to final welding.
The distance between the inside to inside of the axle plates is approximately 9-1/8".
